At Untethered x Tattoos, you are able to consult with the artist to create a custom design that is one of a kind and meaningful to you. Work with Shy by expressing  to her what it is you are hoping to capture and convey to get started on a plan for your design.

At any given time, there are various flash designs available. These designs are not replicable unless otherwise specified, though many designs can be slightly modified and made unique to you upon request! To claim/book a design, simply fill out the request form and provide reference to which design you're interested in claiming, or contact the artist directly.

Proper aftercare is essential to the healing process and longevity of your new tattoo. At Untethered x Tattoos, clients leave with their tattoo wrapped in hypoallergenic, clear tattoo film/second skin barrier (or alternative sterile dressing if explicitly requested), along with clear aftercare instructions, including product recommendations. Any questions regarding the care of your tattoo is welcomed by the artist at any time.

With your health and wellbeing as the top priority, a thorough approach to sanitization is one of the defining characteristics of this little studio. Extra time and care is put in to ensuring the environment is as sanitary, safe and clean as possible. Single use products are used whenever possible as to minimize the risk of contamination. All needles are single use, pre sterilized cartridges. Products used on skin are beneficial to the healing process and have been tried and trusted for use throughout the tattoo process. *Products used on skin will always be disclosed to the client by the artist.

Upon request, tattoo numbing cream can be provided for an additional small fee. Designed by tattoo artists, this numbing cream allows clients to experience excellent pain relief for up to three hours, without affecting the quality and healing process of their fresh ink. All information regarding the product can be found here, on their website. You may also ask the artist any questions you have about the process. Must be requested prior to day of appointment.

At Untethered x Tattoos, certain sessions may significantly benefit from a pre-appointment consultation. Consultations do not cost any added fee or deposit, consisting of back and forth regarding the design as well as budget and availability. They are able to be taken place virtually or within the studio. Consultations are less likely to be required if the client has filled out the request form.
